A&F Chambers are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our client in Chelmsford.
Please note, this is 4-month fixed term contract role however, there is potential to go perm.
Ideally, you will be available to start this assignment by early September 2019.
You will be working in a small team, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assisting the overall accounts department
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing sales invoices
- Posting journals
- Answering queries via phone, email etc
- Checking and posting purchase invoices
- Any other ad hoc duties as and when required
- IT Literate, with knowledge and strong skills on Sage (ideally 200) & Excel
- Well organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to work in a team or on own initiative
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- No formal accounting qualifications necessary
- Monday to Friday, 9AM to 5.30PM
- Fixed term contract role
