A&F Chambers are recruiting for a Financial Controller to join our client in North London.

We are looking for a qualified individual who has experience in the professional services industry. 

Duties include but are not limited:

  • General responsibility for the Finance function and Management of the Finance team
  • Cashflow forecasts
  • Supervision of the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Managing the businesses annual budgets and half-yearly forecasting processes
  • Oversee the month end and year end processes
  • Flash results analysis
  • Assist in the production and preparation of group business plans and support the business leaders in identifying and developing strategy
  • Review statutory accounts
  • Collecting, interpreting and presenting financial information as well as continual review of group performance
  • Oversee payroll function
  • Any other ad hoc duties as and when required

Performance Specification:

  • Ideally fully ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified
  • Experience in the professional services or similar industry
  • Able to work as part of a team or to own initiative
  • IT Literate, with experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


  • Monday to Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM (Flexi-time in place)
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience
  • Full time, permanent role
